NATURAL IS BEAUTIFUL, and I love nothing more than to see babes embrace the way they were born. And I can tell you all day that your hair is fucking amazing, but I know sometimes that doesn't really mean shit coming from someone whose hair doesn't look like yours.

Meet Courtney. Courtney, the epitome of #blackgirlmagic, has gone through just about every experience a black woman could with her hair. Perms, good salons, bad salons, breakage, a big chop, bleach - all of it, honey. And she took the time to create an in-depth video from the beginning of her hair journey as a young girl, to where she is now, a young woman. And I promise it's worth every second.

When I was growing up, I didn't know one person who had hair like mine or went through the things I did. So I'm SO happy Courtney can be that for other girls. Whether you're on a hair journey of your own, finding it hard to relate to someone with a texture like yours, or just interested in what it's like to go natural, you'll definitely want to give this a watch.
